The occlusal reconstruction with dental implant for oral cancer patients

In this study, we evaluated the recovery of the functional aspects and other clinical parameters of the oral cancer patients treated with dental implant subjected to resection surgery. The occlusal reconstruction by applying dental implant contributed to the quality of life after resection surgery. However, the patients treated with skin flaps still had some problems particularly in terms of the maintenance of the implant.The occlusal reconstruction of the patient with oral cancer is one of the greatest problems for the oral surgeon. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the recovery of the functional aspects and other clinical parameters of the oral cancer patients treated with dental implant subjected to minor or major resection surgery.
