The Q Exactive HRAM MS was coupled with a Beckman Coulter CESI Prototype for metabolomic studies: 1. Ultrahigh sensitivity was achieved using this CESI-MS platform. 2. Q Exactive provides fast, accurate mass MS and HCD MS/MS fragmentation for confident metabolite identification. 3. Superior sensitivity and selectivity with CESI-MS compared to UHPLC. 4. CE provides complementary separation to RPLC with better retention for cationic and polar metabolites. 5. SIEVE 2.1 is capable of analyzing CE data for metabolomics experiment. 6. Integrated KEGG pathways provide fast visualization of full experimental results.
