Quantification of IgG Immunoglobulin Subclasses by LC-MS/MS

1. IgG subclasses can be quantified by LC-MS/MS. 2. Precision, linearity and accuracy of the subclass quantification within the range of normal human sera is less than 10percent CV. 3. A positive bias towards nephelometry is observed at elevated concentrations. 4. Potential cost savings for the LC MS/MS method include lower reagent costs and reduced over all analytical time. 5. The LC MS-MS method is suitable for detection of patients with hypogammaglobulinemia.
