QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS OF CHIRAL ISOMERS (EPIGOITRIN/GOITRIN) FROM ISATIS INDIGOTICA FORT ROOT EXTRACT USING SFC-MS

摘要

The enantiomeric resolution of R-, and S-goitrin and the separation of goitrin from the matrix in Ban Lan Gen extract was simultaneously achieved in 6 min using SFC-MS. The capability of SFC-MS in fast qualitative and quantitative analyses of goitrin in complex TCM formulation was demonstrated. SFC is the technique of choice for chiral separation and holds great promise in replacing NPLC. SFC should be considered as a valuable addition to the overall analytical technology platform for TCM research.
