Phosphorus-containing amino acid herbicides (ex.Glyphosate) cause numerous poisoning every year in JAPAN. Indiscriminating interfusion in drinking water is an extremely critical social problem. Although N-acetyl-o-methyl derivatization and TBDMS derivatization were employed for the analytical sample preparation of these compounds, detection and quantification from biogenic samples, food, and drinks had been interfered by impurities because there was no suitable for sample preparation methods previously. In this study, we applied TiO_(2) coated-monolithic spin column to solid phase extraction and clean up of phosphorus-containing amino acid herbicides. This method using TiO2-coated monolithic spin column is very fast, efficient and convenient for the sample preparation of phosphorus-containing amino acid herbicides.
