OPTICALLY ACTIVE g-HALO- 2-AMINOALKANECARBOXYLIC ACID DERIVATIVES, PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION THEREOF AND THEIR USE FOR THE PREPARATION OF OPTICALLY ACTIVE PHOSPHORUS-CONTAINING a-AMINO ACIDS
An optically active, cyclic (2S) - or (2R) - g-halo-2-aminoalkanecarboxylic acid derivative of the formula OX-(CH2)n* HONR1 (I) in which R1 is (C1-C6) alkyl which is unsubstituted or is substituted by one or more radicals selected from the group comprising hydroxyl, (C1-C4) alkoxy, £(C1-C4) alkyl| carbonyl and £(C1-C4) alkoxy| carbonyl; or is (C2-C6) alkenyl, (C2-C6) alkynyl or a group of the formula R2-CO- or R3-SO2-, R2 is (C1-C11) alkyl, (C6-C13) aryl or substituted (C5-C13) aryl, (C1-C6) alkoxy, which is unsubstituted or substituted by one or more radicals, preferably a radical selected from the group comprising (C5-C13) aryl and substituted (C6-C13) aryl, R3 is (C1-C4) alkyl, phenyl or substituted phenyl, X is halogen, and n is zero or one, except for the compound of the formula (I) in which R1 = benzyloxycarbonyl, X = Br and n = 1.
