摘要

Oxythiamine (OT), an inhibitor of transketolase enzyme, is known to inhibit pancreatic cancer cell proliferation. In this study, we investigated the molecular mechanisms of the anti-proliferative action of OT at both translational and post-translational levels in MIA PaCa cancer cells using proteomic techniques. We hypothesized that OT interferes with cell cycle activity through changes in phosphorylation of cellular proteins.
