Forage harvesting by using a forage harvester is a very arduous task for drivers because several tasks run simultaneously, and each of them may demand total concentration. The Control of the header and the steering of the machine is directed to the front, while the control of crop overloading onto a moving trailer is directed to the side or even to the rear of the vehicle. In order to dissolve this conflict, the different tasks are to be automated. This reduces the control effort to an ergonomically acceptable level.
