Based on the discussion on the concept of compensation, we determine that such five indexes as the first-class indexes and fifteen indexes as the second-class indexes to measure the compensation satisfaction of science and technology personnel at public service units, universities and enterprises. By the survey on the 12 000 questionnaires in Jiangsu province, we want to compare differences in the factors influencing compensation satisfaction of science and technology personnel at different organizations.
