Improving Groundwater Remediation Through Performance-Based Environmental Management, Former Fort Ord, Monterey County, California

MACTEC Engineering and Consulting, Inc. (MACTEC) developed and prepared an exit strategy for the U.S. Army of Corps of Engineering (USACE) for active groundwater remediation at Sites 2 and 12 (Sites 2/12) and Operable Unit Two (OU2) at the Former Fort Ord facility. The exit strategy accounts for our current understanding of site hydrogeology and plume fate and transport conditions.
