Matrix-Standardization and Post-Extraction Addition of Internal Standard to Overcome Challenges during LC/MS/MS Quantification of Neomycin and Oxytetracycline in Rabbit Tissues

An LC-MS/MS method was successfully developed and validated to quantify two challenging analytes (neomycin and oxytetracycline) in different rabbit tissues. Several unconventional approaches, e.g. matrix standardization, post-extraction addition of IS, and ion-pairing SPE and LC, were used in concert to overcome the various challenges.
