Quantitative high resolution analysis of H3 histones and their PTMs. WCX-HILIC separated histone peptides based on acetylation and methylation status. Extensive sequence coverage, hundreds of variants identified using ETD. More acetylations and more methylations in HDAC-treated samples (embryonic Hb). Accurate count of total number of modifications on entire N-terminus. Developed bioinformatics pipeline for analysis.
