By focusing on evaluation towards the FAO pathway activity, we systematically examined the status of FAO pathway related protein abundance, the enzyme activity of FAO and the metabolites generated from FAO in db/db and wild type mice, and found that these biochemistry features were significantly changed in the T2DM skeleton tissues. The results therefore endorse the hypotheses of which the skeleton tissues of db/db T2DM possess the abnormal behaviors in the FAO pathway.
