A rapid LC/MS/MS method for simultaneous determination of vildagliptin and two metabolites in monkey, human and rat plasma

A simple, rugged and specific LC/MS/MS method for the simultaneous determination of vildagliptin and two metabolites in monkey, human and rat plasma has been developed and validated. The ability to directly inject the SPE eluate onto the LC/MS/MS provides a high-throughput method suitable to support various non-clinical and clinical studies. Through the addition of another DPP-4 inhibitor to blank plasma, QC and study samples, stability of LAF237 in plasma was achieved.
