STUDY OF PATHOLOGICAL MANIFESTATIONS IN LOW-INCOME HOUSE -STUDY CASE IN SANTA CATARINA, BRAZIL A

Currently in Brazil the facility to acquire a property has grown considerably in relation to the last decade. There was a large investment in government programs that contributed to the significant growth of the construction of residential units. However allied with the rapidity in meeting this demand comes the cut of expenses the lack of planning design and inspection adequate requirements that can compromise the performance of the buildings thus failing to meet the basic requests to which a building is subject In order to know the real situation of the buildings the present work aims to present the main pathological manifestations found in the structures of popular housing estates. For this a structural analysis was carried out in social interest housing located in the southern region of the state of Santa Catarina where a photographic survey and sclerometry test were carried out in pre-selected buildings.
