摘要

The fuel injection process plays an important role on DI diesel engine combustion. It has important influence on diesel engine performance and emission. In this paper, three dimensional computations of Diesel engine combustion were performed using the KIVA-III code. The simulation efforts included the effects of different injection characteristics such as varying the injection pressure, injection timing and nozzle diameter. The simulation results showed the valuable trends of NOx and soot formation with the different injection characteristics.
