Formulation of Griseofulvin Microparticles by Spray-drying, with the Aim of Enhancing Drug Dissolution of the Poorly Water-Soluble Drug

The dissolution rate of griseofulvin, a poorly watersoluble model drug has been improved by producing microparticles. Particles that were coated with a hydrophilic surfactant showed even greater dissolution rates.
