Numerical Analysis of Deep Beams on Non-Uniform Elastic Compressional and Frictional Winkler Foundations

This research presents a numerical solution to evaluate the response of deep beams on non-uniform elastic compression and friction Winkler foundations. Finite element method is used to solve the governing equation of deep beams on both vertical and horizontal modulus of subgrade reactions. The results obtained were compared with analytical solution using Green's function formulation.
