A high density of electronic pieces on the dielectric PCB substrate generates parasite coupling between the conducting paths on the board, analyzed, in high frequency range, with position dependent parameters. A compact package of formulas is obtained, which allow the analytical and graphical determination of the parasitic signal, its quantitative contribution when it overlaps the main signal and how it modifies the shape and characteristics of the affected main signal. The present study was realized for different main signal time variations.
