Funding Strategy for Fuel Cells in Germany, European and International Development

摘要

Fuel Cell Technology is a key element for public funding of Research, Development and Demonstration (R, D&D) in the new Energy Research Programme which is being elaborated under the umbrella of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Labour (BMWA). Measures which have been funded in the running Programme "Energy Research and Energy Technologies" will consequently be continued in the framework of the new programme. Objective of these activities is the increase of the internationally comparable high status of fuel cell technology in Germany. The main activities of future R, D&D measures are explained in the following text. In addition the international Initiatives started in the last two years in which BMWA is participating and measures on national level resulting form these initiatives will be described.
