Studies on the Prediction Methods of Service Life of Solid Propellants

摘要

The concept of service life of solid propellants had been clearly defined. The various factors limiting the service life of solid propellants had been presented. The performances of solid propellants that influenced by the factors such as temperature, humidity and thermal fatigue cycles had been introduced in brief. The applicability of classical tests and fundamental stability tests applied to the prediction of service life of solid propellants in the process of the prediction of service life had been elucidated. On this basis, the nondestructive evaluation (NDE) applying to the prediction of service of solid propellants had been introduced in detail.
