Aging effect of sandy soils on liquefaction strength was studied by conducting cyclic triaxial tests on undisturbed and reconstituted samples. Based on these tests and review of previous tests, the authors tried to draw a relationship among liquefaction strength, age and fines content. Moreover, additional tests on post liquefaction behavior were also conducted. Then, aging effect on liquefaction-induced deformation of structures was discussed.
