Electron field emission properties of carbon nanotubes grown on nickel caps

Carbon nanotubes have many unique physical properties, showing great potential for applications as electron field emitter. In this study, for studying their electron field emission properties, the carbon nanotubes were synthesized using methane by microwave assisted chemical vapor deposition.
