As an example of how hard it to understand this issue, I got even the title wrong when I submitted it for the program. I used "perspective" which is a physical, objective, measurable quality. It generally refers to alternative views of the same physical object when height, angle or distance is changed. It probably would have been more correct to use the term perception in the title. Wikipe-dia describes perception as "the organization, identification, and interpretation of sensory information in order to represent and understand the presented information, or the environment" and goes on to say that perception "is not only the passive receipt of these signals, but it's also shaped by the recipient s learning, memory, expectation, and attention" and that most of "this processing happens outside conscious awareness."
