Peptide array synthesis on a glass chip using micromirror array (MMA) and protein patterning

We have synthesized HPQ containing pentapeptide arays on a glass chip and used streptagvidin as a model protein to study the binding assay since HPQ containing pentapeptides are known to bind streptavidin [1].We have previously reported an efficient method to quantify different binding activities of HPQ containing pentapeptides on a resin bead [2].We performed similar expieriments on a glass chip and proved that peptide array synthesis on a chip is much simpler than SPPS and can save reagents,time and labor to perform the similar binding assay.
