SUGAR LOSSES FROM MIXED JUICE TO MARKET SUGAR: INTRODUCTION, AIMS AND OBJECTIVES OF THE WORKSHOP

ISSCT Factory Commission workshops provide an excellent forum for the interchange of knowledge and ideas between practising industry technologists. This workshop will consider sugar losses between mixed juice and market sugar in exactly the same way as in all previous workshops except that its inclusion within an ISSCT congress will provide an opportunity for wider dissemination of the workshop outcomes. A core group of technologists who have paid an additional registration fee will be the main participants in the workshop. However, other congress delegates not specifically registered to be part of the workshop will be able to be 'observers' at the back of the workshop forum and listen to the workshop proceedings in the same way as they can listen to any other paper presented at the congress.
