摘要

The scope of this paper is the application of Krylov subspace reduction methods in frequency based substructuring. For that purpose the structure will be subdivided into substructures; these substructures will be condensed by a Krylov subspace reduction method and afterwards assembled to represent the dynamic behavior the structure. The method applied will be explained and the performance of the technique will be demonstrated using a benchmark example.
