摘要

The steam generator (SG) water level control problem is considered as a benchmark for robust control techniques. The physics of the plant exhibit an inverse response behavior as well as an unstable open loop response. The plant is a time-varyingsystem with dynamics that change slowly as the internal power changes. Both the control input and the outputs are constrained. The solutions proposed by six participants have been evaluated using a realistic simulator. A quantitative evaluation iscompleted using standard figures of merit such as settling time, maximal error, RMS error, peak-gain measure.
