This paper is concerned with the problem of designing reliable statefeedback control for a class of uncertain linear systems with norm bounded uncertainty. A procedure for designing reliable state-feedback control is presented for the case ofactuator failures that can be modeled by a scaling factor. The designed control law guarantees that the closed-loop system retain robust stability and a known quadratic performance bound despite any actuator failures within a selected subset of actuators(i.e. the primary contingency reliable control).
