The complexity of project network depends on two factors. One on number of activities and second on precedence relationship. Project time is keynote in project analysis. Project can be crashed where there exists the normal and crash time-cost tradeoff of activities. Excluding non-critical activities, as they cannot influence project duration, the structure of the network is reduced in magnitude. Smaller and simpler structure of network is helpful in optimizing many problems in project analysis. A method to identify the non-requisite activities is proposed here to reduce the structure of project network.
