The Castaic Lake Water Agency (the Agency) supplies drinking water to four water reatil agenices in northern Los angeles County in California. The raw water source is Castaic lake, the western terminus of the California State Water Probject. This water is characterized by low turbidity and a trihalomethoane formation potential that exceeds the present Trihalomethane (THM) formation potential maximum contaminant level (MCL) of 100 #mu# g/L.
