摘要

The report represents the results of the research done to improve the efficiency and environmental features of vehicle engines by means of hydrogen addition to the hydrocarbon fuels. The detailed investigation of the water magnesium alloy resultedin the development of a vehicle hydrogen generator. Computer simulation programs were made to analyse the required hydrog en addition. It has been found that the relatively small additions of hydrogen and water damp to the gasoil fuel results in great improvement of exhaust gas emissions and engine efficiency. The tests made with the experimental car have shown good agreement with the computer simulation results. Computer simulation programs were made to analyse the required hydrogen addition.
