A Production Safety Management System Based on the System Security Theory for Railway Construction Projects

In recent years, along with the fast development of China’s economy, the railway construction has entered a rapid developing period. However, because of poor skills of the construction teams, lack of safety awareness and weak management, railway construction projects are facing an enormous challenge in production safety management under the background with large construction scale, high quality requirements and complicated technologies. To address this serious situation, this paper investigates a production safety management system based on the system security theory for railway construction projects. First, the principles of establishing a production safety management system were proposed according to the system security theory. Then the existing production safety management systems for both domestic and overseas construction projects were analyzed. Subsequently, a production safety management system was established taking into account of the specific characteristics of railway construction projects.
