In this paper, an approach to accurately and efficiently evaluate the $Exp$ type of functions is proposed. In this approach, an adaptive interpolation table is carefully designed based on the function variations. Then, the linear function is used to interpolate the $Exp(-jkr)$ values and the Lagrange polynomial for the Green function $Exp(-jkr)/r$. An efficient method of moment solver is developed incorporated with the proposed approach to model the integrated circuits. Numerical results show that the proposed method can save over 20% CPU time without sacrificing the accuracy.
