User acceptance analysis of patient data management software

摘要

Enormous increase in data collection creates a challenge for the healthcare management to improve their operation. Thus, Patient Data Management Software (PDMS) is an approach to support and achieve excellent performance of patient healthcare in managing the data effectively and efficiently. In this paper, literature search of selected existing PDMS is analyzed by evaluating each performance based on the chosen parameters and user acceptance. This study demonstrates the percentage of user acceptance from different views of health care professionals and their preference towards each software referred to the assessment of each parameter. As a conclusion, needs and requirements of different users are prominent features to consider for future development of a valuable information systems.
