For soil is a complicated material with mechanical properties close ties with the stress condition it suffered,centrifugal shaker shows great superiority to the research of soil dynamics and geotechnical earthquake engineering.Currently only two large centrifugal shakers exist in USA and Japan respectively,while no one has been established in China,and practically the construction of centrifugal shakers is still in an exploratory stage throughout the world,remains many difficulties.Test data acquisition system as an important part of a centrifugal shaker certainly has some critical techniques and difficulties.This paper firstly analyses the special function and critical techniques of test data acquisition system for dynamic centrifugal model tests,then proposes a design method and points out its advantages,in order to give guidance for the construction of centrifugal shakers,especially large centrifugal shakers.
