DOV KAMINETZKY: PERSONAL TRIBUTE TO DEAR FRIEND, MENTOR, AND PARTNER

This Symposium celebrates the lifetime contribution of Dov Kaminetzky to the field of concrete. Mr. Kaminetzky was born on September 28, 1925, and passed away on July 19, 2009.He came to the United States and attended the University of Michigan. He then settled in New York, where he made his long career of almost six decades. He helped improve the quality of design and construction in the US and many other countries. The papers in this symposium give a perspective of the various aspects of Dov's success as a true engineer.
