Distance of Avoidance Behavior under Mid-low Density: Considering Pedestrian Personal Space on the JR Nishichiba Station

摘要

Ⅰ 80% pedestrians start avoidance behavior when the distance between two people is nearer than 2105mm. It is an evidence of pedestrian personal space.Ⅱ Correlation between avoidance distance and density is not significant in 0-0.50p/m~2, but it is significant in 0.50-1.00p/m~2.
