In this paper, provides three assumptions about the relation between human resource development and advanced manufacturing technology based on a detailed analysis of their relationships, and then build human resource development and advanced manufacturing technology index system in accordance with international manufacturing strategy survey (IMSS) database. We further apply analysis of variance and multiple linear regression analysis and other methods to conduct empirical analysis. The empirical results show that the level of human resources development have a significant effect on the application of advanced manufacturing technology, so the two of them should keep balanced development. This study can be as quantitative basis for exploring advanced manufacturing technology and better for the implementation of advanced manufacturing technology in Chinese enterprises.
