BLM is a sensitive element similar to biologic membrane. BLM supported by medium has become an ideal sensor model. The energy conversion of supported BLM has been achieved in two ways. They are classical electrochemical transducer method and BLM supported by metal. The influence of transducer method on BLM sensitivity characteristics has become an important aspect of supported BLM research. BLM modified by valinomycin as sensitive element, the supported BLM electrodes with different transducer methods was formed. Through the comparative experiments, the BLM input-output characteristics with different transducer methods were revealed; the performance of different transducer and the relationship of composition and structure of transducer with the performance were revealed; the law of BLM affected by different transducer methods and the mechanism of the law were revealed. It was proved by data that BLM supported by metal was a more scientific transducer method. In addition, S-BLM with different support surface was studied further.
