Perceived Organizational Politics and Organizational Commitment: Exploring the Moderating Effect of Job Insecurity

This study examined the moderating effect of Job Insecurity on the relation between the Perception of Organizational Politics and organizational commitment. Data collected from 314 employees indicated that the negative relationship between perception of organizational politics and affective commitment as well as normative commitment were alleviated as quantitative insecurity increased, while the negative relationship between perception of organizational politics and affective commitment was weakened as qualitative insecurity increased.
