The A.R Moller - Maersk group incorporates a number of shipping business units, one of which is Maersk Line, the world's largest container carrier. Maersk Line operates more than 470 vessels with a capacity of around 1,8 million containers and offers a global door to door transport solution through its offices in 125 countries with roughly 22000 employees. Globally shipping accounts for around 90% of all cargo transport and Maersk Line stands for close to 4% of this.
