Moisture and heat transfer in the static total heat exchanger is a typical weak-coupled transfer problem in small channel . An equivalent moisture diffusivity was defined, and an analogy was drawn between fluid-solid(membrane)coupled moisture transfer and fluid-solid coupled heat transfer by reasonable assumptions. Then a mathematical model for the coupled moisture and heat transfer problem was established according to the analogy. Taking a quasi-counter flow total heat exchanger as an example, introduce the method to implement this model in the present CFD code. Finally, the computational results were verified with experimental data and results obtained from the present numerical method. It is proved that this method can get a better prediction of the performance parameters of the total heat exchanger.
