Syllabus Review is an important process to make sure our education program achieve education reform. Engineering Technology Accreditation Council (ETAC) being appointed by the Malaysian government has come out with the education blueprint to make sure that all engineering diploma program offered in Malaysia to follow their standard. It stated that teaching and learning (TnL) of the program offered must follow 50% of the practical based concept of student learning time (SLT). This paper presents the review work implemented done to change TnL implementation toward 50% of practical work base SLT of Electrical engineering diploma program offered in Universiti Teknologi MARA, UiTM. It is also discussed how the costing effect has been reduced in order to maintain the quality of the diploma engineering program without impacting the university mission and vision.
