This article describes students work on a project called Glofïer. It combines knowledge from economy, marketing and information technologies. The primary goal of this article is to discuss problematics of searching in sales portals, full-text and also parametric. Here are described ways, how to optimize searching based on available relevant data. In the second part, marketing strategies for Gloffer are discussed and subsequently implemented in the portal environment. Various approaches to brand promotion and presentation, as well as products and services are described. Here is a description of the way, how students are involved in analyses and the subsequent realization of the student's proposed search procedures and related marketing communications of the Gloffer sales and demand portal.
