Differentiation and Mastery Learning in Practice: Metrics and Visualizations for Cognitive Tutor Algebra

We provide metrics and visualizations to illustrate learner progress through mathematics curricula in real-world classrooms that, to greater and lesser extents, allow for the differentiation affordances provided by the Cognitive Tutor intelligent tutoring system to guide that progress.
