EFFECTIVENESS OF TRAINING FOR UNEMPLOYED AND LINKS BETWEEN ICT TRAINING AND EMPLOYABILITY: THE CASE OF MOSCOW STATE UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS, STATISTICS AND INFORMATICS

As a result of the research some valuable information was received, which gave opportunity to get feedback and evaluate education programmes and modules. The research results demonstrate a high quality of ICT modules of MESI training programmes for unemployed people. Employed participants estimated sufficiency of ICT skills as 3.9 for participants of the year 2010 and 4.0 of 2011 on a 5-point scale. 80 % of the participants assert that the ICT component is an essential part of the training programme. The results show a high level of job placement after trainings and participants point out the impact of ICT trainings on their employment outcomes. Job placement after trainings is 77 % for programmes' participants of the year 2010 and 54 % - of the year 2011.
