Study of Growth Drivers for Developing Economy under Globalization— Lesson learned from Indian Pharmaceutical Industry

The article discusses the factors that have promoted development of India Pharmaceutical industry and lessons that China "can learn from. The authors believe that India's government policy on patent laws and industry clustering has played a pivotal role in shaping up the industry. With extensive experience in process chemistry and regulatory compliance, India has adopted a very aggressive global expansion strategy and is well positioned for future growth and competition. Although India and China are competitors in the pharmaceutical industry, the two countries can benefit from each other by forming partnerships and strategic alliances.
