Tumor homing peptide-conjugated low molecular weight heparin derivative as angiogenesisinhibitor

A novel angiogenesis inhibitor was developed basedon the conjugation of tumor homing peptide into lowmolecular heparin derivative. Tumor homing peptideconjugatedlow molecular weight heparin showed asignificant tumor growth inhibition potential and delayedtumor growth in MDA-MB231 human breast cancer cellcompared to low molecular weight heparin without tumorhoming peptide.
