摘要

Amorphous barium aluminosilicate powder was synthesized at low temperature by sol-gel process, in which Al(OC_3H_7)_3, Si(OC_2H_5)_4 and Ba (CH_3COO)_2 were used as starting materials. The synthesis procedure is presented in detail. The crystallization and sintering behaviors of the powder were investigated, and the results show that the gel powder viscously sinters at low temperature (850°C-900°C ), and crystallizes into hexacel-sian by heat treatment at higher temperatures.
